Spring Break on a Nude Beach or a Nudist Resort Many people may consider
Spring Break to be a trivial occurrence,
just a big party by students who have nothing better to do with their time and
money. But this is NOT SO! Spring Break actually is an established cultural
tradition among college students, an annual event with its own sets of rituals,
a piece of 20th century Americana. Some argue that Spring Break goes back
farther and deeper than that--that it is the modern manifestation of an age-old
rite in which young people celebrate the return of the Spring. Thus, those who
partake in Spring Break are actually adding their touch to the annals of the
Spring Break tradition. The following is a brief recap of the history of Spring
Break to provide current-day participants with an understanding of the footsteps
in which they follow.
Some of the elements of the Spring Break tradition also go way back in the
customs of American college students. Traveling to the coast or to the site of a
mineral spring as a restorative cure for the rigors of academic life was common
among the well-to-do set of American college students since the 19th century (if
not earlier).
Nude Beach or Nudist Resort
Which should you choose for your first nude recreation experience, a nude beach,
or, a nudist resort? Take some advice from a couple who gave nude recreation a
try when they were in their 50's. A first class nudist or clothing optional
resort is the only way to see if nude recreation is for you. Why is that? Nudist
resorts are safe, clean, managed places. The guests are on their best behavior.
You'll also find them to be friendly and not putting on airs. No one is going to
pester you. There will be planned activities for those who want to socialize,
but don't feel compelled to participate. Many nudist resorts compare with any 4
resort, while others offer a nude recreation experience in rural natural
settings.
Many resorts are
clothing optional and are perfect for people who just aren't sure about being
nude in front of other people. You can stay clothed at these resorts and no one
will make you feel uncomfortable for doing so. Over the years, many people have
written to tell us that going to a clothing optional resort was what allowed
them to finally find the freedom they had dreamed about but were afraid to try.
Now, let's look at nude beaches. First of all there are only a few that
are truly legal in the United States. Legal means the beach is designated as a
nude beach. That means no threat of arrest or harassment by the authorities.
Lifeguards may be on duty during the busy season and there may be enforcement
patrols to insure that there is no unruly or offensive behavior. Another group
of nude beaches are the ones where nude use is accepted but not protected by the
law. Then there is the last group of beaches where people will sometimes go nude
but always run the risk of the authorities deciding to sweep the area and arrest
or cite any people who are nude. Please don't get me wrong. We love going to a
nude beach. You just have to do some research before you go.
LEGAL
NOTE:
The naturist photo and video documentaries that we offer are legal in every city, every state and every county inside the United States. They are protected by the First Amendment and are not subject to local obscenity laws or ordinances. The depiction of adults and children nude in the visual media has enjoyed constitutional protection in the United States since 1958, when the Supreme Court vacated a Court of Appeals finding that Sunshine& Health magazine could be obscene (Sunshine Book Co. v. Summerfield, Postmaster General, 355 U.S. 372). The right to depict adults and children in innocent nude poses has been upheld without a pause for 41 years. In case after case, the Supreme Court and lower courts have always upheld the constitutionality of "nudity without more," specifically referring to the nudist depiction as a fully constitutional form of expression. Our website is widely visited in all of Asia, Europe, South America, Canada, Australia and Africa. The only exception may be countries where nudity of any kind is banned.
